One Injured in Northwest Side Blaze

CHICAGO — One person was injured in a fire in an Avondale home Tuesday morning, the Chicago Fire Department said. 

The flames broke out in a house in the 3000 block of North Washtenaw Avenue just before 9 a.m., the fire department said.

A person was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with minor injuries, the fire department said.
