BRIDGEPORT — Drink up. Get inspired. Repeat.

The organizers of the “Over the Influence” art show are encouraging local artists and designers to submit works “inspired by the aesthetics of craft beer and how it intersects with food, culture, and society.”

The deadline to submit entries for consideration is April 20. Organizers of the exhibit, including Maria’s Community Bar and Mash Tun Journal, say they’re looking for work in any form of media.

The exhibit, scheduled for May 18 at the Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S. Morgan St., is a follow-up to last year’s “Under the Influence” show. Check out Good Beer Hunting’s site for photos from that event.

Chef and artist Won Kim is again co-hosting the show.

Like last time, patrons will be able to sip, savor or slam commercial beers "alongside some of the usual outsider beer" while perusing the artwork.

Interested in submitting some work? E-mail Maria's co-owner and Mash Tun publisher Ed Marszewski at edmarlumpen@gmail.com with a description of the of the work and enclose up to three jpeg files of previous work.
