COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A 59-year-old Aurora man sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl during her sleepover at a friend's house in Auburn Gresham, prosecutors said Sunday.

The assault happened early Saturday in the 8400 block of South Vincennes Avenue, according to court documents.

George Oliver, who was dating the grandmother of the victim's friend, entered a bedroom where the victim and her friend were sleeping, Cook County Assistant State's Attorney Lisa Morrison said during Sunday bond court.

Morrison said the 59-year-old man then began to touch the victim. The girl jumped up, and Oliver fled the room, Morrison said.

According to Oliver's arrest report, he touched the girl over her pants and fondled her breasts.

After the assault, the girl called her mother, and authorities were brought to the friend's home.

Oliver was "hightly intoxicated" when he was arrested about 4 a.m. Saturday, according to his arrest report.

Oliver, of the 500 block of West 5th Avenue in suburban Aurora, was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under age 13.

Cook County Judge Israel Desierto set his bail at $200,000.
