
CHICAGO — An off-duty Chicago police officer was robbed of his gun in a stickup on the South Side Tuesday night, police said.
Police said the officer was sitting in his parked car in the 400 block of East 91st Street about 7:25 p.m. when two men approached on each side of the car and threatened him with a gun.
The men took the officer's handgun, phone and wallet, police said. The officer wasn't hurt during the robbery.
Police said no one is in custody, and Area South detectives are investigating.
