CHICAGO — The state is investigating the death of a 1-month old who died Friday.
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services in investigating the mother of Tianna Noe, of the 6500 block of North Leavitt Street, for neglect, spokesman Dave Clarkin said.
He said the department has had no prior contact with the family before. Another child lives at the home, and has not been removed, he said.
Tianna was found unresponsive at the home early Friday, and was pronounced dead at Illinois Advocate Masonic Hospital at 6:03 a.m Friday.
