CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was fatally shot in Back of the Yards Thursday night, officials said.
Sergio Mora, of the 4900 block of West Winchester Avenue, was fatally shot about 5 p.m. at 2320 W. 50th Place, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Mora was shot in the left side, and was unresponsive at the scene, police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious-to-critical condition, where he was pronounced dead about 6 p.m. from multiple gunshot wounds, according to fire officials and the medical examiner's office.
