CHICAGO — Police are looking for a man they say fondled a 15-year-old girl on a CTA train.

The girl said she was riding the Orange Line on Jan. 8 when a man stood behind her and began rubbing her buttocks, police said in a news release. She told the man to move away, and he stopped and sat down.

The girl got off the southbound train at the 35th/Archer stop and alerted police. Officers attempted to apprehend the man at the next stop, but he had fled in an unknown direction, police said.

He is described as a white man, approximately 55 to 60, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 with white hair. He was wearing a tan jacket with black shoes.

Police ask that individuals with information calls Area Central Detectives at (312) 747-8380.
