CHICAGO — An early-morning car accident in Roseland claimed the lives of three people Saturday.
A 20-year-old woman and two 22-year-old men — twin brothers — died when the driver lost control of a 2008 Kia Optima traveling north on State Street near 102nd Street, said Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala. All the occupants had to be extricated by fire crews, Zala said.
Two people were taken to Christ Hospital in critical condition, and another was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, fire officials said. The 15-year-old was in stable condition at Christ, Zala said.
