Juwan Howard's Luxury Trump Tower Pad a Jump Ball at $3.3M

THE LOOP — Former Miami Heat forward Juwan Howard may never have played for the Bulls, but the Chicago native has long kept a place in the city where he grew up, most recently on the 53rd floor of the 92-story Trump International Hotel & Tower.

In November, Howard listed the seven-room unit at 401 N. Wabash for $2.9 million. Now, a few weeks later, the price tag for the pad, listed by Baird & Warner, has been raised nearly $400,000 to $3,295,000.

The 3.5-bathroom condo has some high-tech highlights, including a glassed-enclosed wine room, remote-controlled blinds and a floor-to-ceiling map wall in one of its three bedrooms.

Dark Brazilian hardwood floors and 10-foot ceilings sweep the 3,080 square foot space, which includes northern, southern and eastern views of the city and comes with two parking spaces--perfect for an autophile like 39-year-old Howard.

Three fireplaces and, naturally, access to the tower's Trump-worthy amenities like the spa and health club, sweeten the deal.

Howard bought the sky-high condo in 2009 for $2.5 million, according to the Chicago Tribune. He also owns at least one other home in the area, a townhouse in the South Loop he bought for $490,000 in 1996, plus an additional property in Florida.
