ROSELAND — At least two people were taken to the hospital following a car accident Monday evening at the intersection of South Michigan Avenue and East 109th Street in the city's Roseland neighborhood.
The accident happened when a car driving east on 109th Street entered the intersection and was hit by a car heading north on Michigan Avenue. The driver heading north did not have a stop sign and was not charged in the accident
The driver of the car who was hit was taken to the hospital, and one passenger from the other vehicle also went to the hospital complaining of back pain. Police on the scene said both were in good condition.
Chicago Police New Affairs did not have any details as of 7 p.m. Monday.
