BUCKTOWN — After some in the media were fooled by reports of a helicopter crash that turned out to be a scene for NBC's drama ''Chicago Fire,'' location managers for the popular series are cautioning residents not to call 911 if they witness a ''simulated emergency'' in Bucktown.

"Without getting specific, it's an emergency scene," said Adam Boor, 34, an assistant location manager for the series, which plans to shoot portions of episode 14 at Lottie's Pub on Thursday and Friday.

"The Police and Fire departments are aware of all of our activity," Boor said.

On Tuesday, a crew of 20 workers were busy prepping the pub at 1925 W. Cortland Ave. for filming.
