LAKEVIEW— For the first time this year, the eclectic everything-and-anything shop Two-Sided opened an exclusively holiday-themed shop just a doorway from the yearlong store at 2958 N. Clark St.

A merchandise buyer for all three "Sided" boutiques — Four-Sided in Andersonville, Four-Sided in Lakeview, and Two-Sided in Lakeview — Adie Hannan said by utilizing the empty retail space next door to Two-Sided, the boutique can display all of its holiday trinkets without having to store away year-round bestsellers.

"People can come in and buy their Christmas presents in here, and go across the way and buy their holiday decorations in there," said Hannan, pointing to the holiday shop, which shoppers could access through the regular shop. Hannon said in years past, shoppers requested the stored-away regular stock items because they "make great gifts."

Hannan said some Chicago artists' work is on display and for sale in the holiday pop-up shop, including holiday greetings cards featuring a Chicago-style hot dog.

The shop is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, Saturday 10 a.m to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m to 6 p.m.
