Burned Body Found in Logan Square Trash Can

CHICAGO — Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found burned beyond recognition in a Logan Square trash can Tuesday night.

Fire crews found the body in the 3100 block of North Central Park Avenue about 9 p.m., police said. The trash can was still on fire when they arrived.

The man, who remained unidentified, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
