GOLD COAST — A 17-year-old girl died Monday after she fell from the ninth floor of a Gold Coast parking garage.
The incident took place at about 4:20 p.m. Monday on the 900 block of North Rush Street, according to police, although the Cook County medical examiners office said the fall happened on the 100 block of East Walton Street.
The medical examiner's office pronounced the girl, of the 3200 block of South Ridgeway Avenue, dead at 4:42 p.m.
No other information on the case was available late Monday, according to police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien.
