GRAND CROSSING — A 22-year-old man was shot to death in a parking lot on East 75th Street and South Rhodes Avenue, authorities said.
The victim, Johnny White, was standing in the lot on Oct. 28 around 2:30 a.m. when he was hit by gunfire in the chest and shoulders.
White was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
No one is in custody and Area South detectives are investigating.
