Pregnant Woman Cut By Glass After Bullets Fly Through Window

PULLMAN — A pregant woman was cut by shards of glass when someone fired gunshots into the window of her South Side home on Wednesday night, police said.

Shots shattered the window of the victim's home near East 121st Street and South Michigan Avenue in the West Pullman neighborhood at about 9:25 p.m., according to police. The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and is reportedly in "stable" condition.

A vehicle near her home was also shot, police said.

An investigation is ongoing and police are still searching for the suspect.
