Crews for the prison-based TV series were set up along 30th Avenue and 36th Street on Wednesday.
The vendor will open its first storefront on 34th Avenue in the Kaufman Arts District.
"New York on Location" will take place Sept. 21 at the backlot at Kaufman Astoria Studios.
Astoria Flea & Food will run through the end of summer, organizers said this week.
The festivities will include live music, barbecue and an outdoor screening of local films.
