BROOKLYN — A suspended Brooklyn assistant district attorney was charged Wednesday with sexually assaulting a woman in a vehicle, officials said.

Chrismy Sagaille, 32, who worked as a sex crimes prosecutor and was arrested last August for drunk driving, jumped into the woman’s car after leaving a party in Brooklyn at about 11:30 p.m. on April 30, according to the NYPD and a New York Post report.

Sagaille then tried to kiss the woman and groped her, an NYPD spokesman said.

The woman reported the assault on May 1 and Sagaille turned himself into the NYPD Special Victims Unit in East Harlem Wednesday morning, according to police.

He was charged with two counts of sexual abuse and forcible touching.

Sagaille — whose annual salary was $63,654 when he was arrested in August, according to public records — has been suspended without pay since Aug 6., the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office said.

“This is a serious allegation that will be handled by a special prosecutor,” a Brooklyn DA spokesman said in a statement.
