BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn prosecutor was arrested for drunk driving after running a red light in Canarsie early Saturday morning, police said.

Chrismy Sagaille, 31, was pulled over after he drove his 2012 Nissan Maxima through a red light near East 85th Street and Flatlands Avenue around 4 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Officer allegedly smelled alcohol on his breath, and Sagaille was arrested after refusing a breathalyzer test, a police source said. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, according to police.

The Brooklyn DA's office hired Sagaille as an assistant district attorney in 2013, according to his online resume. He made $61,800 last year, according to city records.

A spokeswoman for Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson declined to comment Sunday.
