BROOKLYN — A 27-year-old man was shot to death while waiting at a bus stop outside the Farragut Houses Wednesday night, police said.

Melquain Henderson was shot in the chest at the stop in front of 190 York St., near Gold Street, about 8:45 p.m., the NYPD said.

Henderson, who lived in the complex about two blocks away on Sands Street, was taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where he died.

It’s unclear what sparked the shooting.
