The Forest Hills Stadium summer lineup is filling out as organizers keep adding new acts.

The recently renovated venue, where The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones performed decades ago, will host signer/songwriter Jack Johnson and indie band Dispatch this summer, the organizers said.

The artists will join several previously announced acts, including Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, My Morning Jacket, The Chainsmokers, The xx and Sigur Ros, all scheduled to perform at the stadium this year.

Jack Johnson, an environmentalist and former pro surfer, is scheduled to play in Forest Hills on Wednesday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m. with special guest, Canadian musician Bahamas, as part of his North American tour, which kicks off in Chicago on June 2.

The artist, who has not toured since 2014, has just released his new song “Fragments” which appears in “The Smog Of the Sea,” a new documentary about plastic pollution in the oceans, the organizers said.

Boston-based Dispatch, founded by college friends Chad Urmston, Pete Heimbold, and Brad Corrigan in 1996, will perform in Forest Hills on Thursday, July 6, as part of their America, Location 12 Tour, organizers said.
