Man Shot in Clinton Hill Home Invasion, Police Say

BROOKLYN — Two men pushed their way into a man’s Clinton Hill apartment and shot him in the leg, according to police.

The suspects forced their way into the 33-year-old man’s home on Irving Place near Classon Avenue on Jan. 17 before shooting him in the left thigh, the NYPD said.

The men then fled south toward Fulton Street.

The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

Investigators were not immediately clear on a motive for the shooting, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

One suspect is about 35 years old, 5-foot-11 and was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, black jeans and black sneakers.
