FORT GREENE — A 13-year-old boy was violently beaten and robbed by six men in broad daylight near the Walt Whitman Houses, police said.
The boy was walking near North Portland and Myrtle avenues at 3 p.m. on Sept. 29 when the men approached him, then started punching and kicking him, according to a police report.
The boy fell to the ground and the men took his phone, sneakers and watch, police said.
The suspects fled into the nearby Whitman Houses, police said.
No arrests have been made.
