BROOKLYN — Two men were charged Wednesday in connection with a police-involved shooting in Brooklyn that wounded one of the suspects, police said.

Zaquan Footman, 23, faces charges of criminal possession of a weapon and menacing after he drew a gun on officers while they were trying to arrest Dontre Bradley, 20, on an outstanding warrant outside of his home at 177 Sand St. in Vinegar Hill on Tuesday, according to the NYPD.

Three officers fired at Footman, striking him in the hand, police said.

He ran into a Farragut Houses building at 237 Nassau St. and was later apprehended in a third-floor apartment, according to police officials.

Bradley, who also lives at 177 Sands St., fled during the shooting as well, but was quickly apprehended, police said.

Bradley was charged for an outstanding warrant. Police did not have details about what that warrant involved.

Footman was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, and no officers were injured in the shooting, according to the NYPD.
