FORT GREENE — The lineup for this year’s Afropunk Fest is in.
Ice Cube will be headlining the 12th annual music festival, which returns to Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene Aug. 27 and 28, organizers announced Tuesday.
Other performers include Tyler The Creator, TV On The Radio, Ceelo Green, Flying Lotus, Janelle Monae and The Internet.
This year’s tickets will run between $45 for a day’s general admission and $75 for the weekend. VIP tickets, which include food, cocktails, private bathrooms and gifts, run between $120 for a day and $220 for the full weekend.
Organizers started charging for admission last year after more than 60,000 people attended 2014's festival and several were turned away due to lack of space.

Concertgoers can also volunteer at the festival in exchange for a free ticket as part of the "Afropunk Army" program.
Afropunk is widely known as the nation's premier event for alternative black music and was founded in Brooklyn in 2005. The festival recently expanded to Atlanta, Paris, Washington D.C. and Oakland, Ca.
