FORT GREENE — Lindsay Lohan arrived to work in Fort Greene "super early" Wednesday for community service at a local daycare, the organization's director said.
The trouble-prone actress began her service hours at Duffield Children's Center, where she plans to spend 125 volunteer hours as part of a court mandate stemming from a 2012 Los Angeles reckless-driving case.
It is unclear exactly at what time she arrived.

Lohan spent the morning filing paperwork and will begin to work with children at a later date, said Ivonne Lopez, who directs the center's early-childhood program. She will not be left alone with the little ones at any time.
Lopez sent a letter to parents Tuesday ensuring them that the actress "would be under constant supervision from the classroom teacher and Duffield staff." She noted that it is a common protocol for "any volunteer that comes to any early childhood program."
The children, aged 2 to 4, seem unaware of the starlet's presence, Lopez added.
"She's just a regular person to them."
Lohan was approved to work at the nursery school by a Los Angeles judge last week and plans to stay at the center all month.
She was ordered to complete more than 240 hours of community service after crashing her Porsche into a truck on June 8, 2012. Lohan was charged with reckless driving and lying to police, according to reports.
The actress has a long rap sheet that includes shoplifting, driving under the influence and several traffic violations.
Lohan will face jail time if she does not complete her remaining community service hours by May 28.
Duffield Children's Center is located at 101 Fleet Pl. near Myrtle Avenue.
