FORT GREENE — Lindsay Lohan is set to teach the youth of Brooklyn.

The trouble-prone actress plans to spend 125 volunteer hours at Duffield Children's Center in Fort Greene as part of court-mandated community service hours stemming from a 2012 Los Angeles reckless-driving case.

Details are still in the works, but Lohan plans to help kids at the center learn to read and write, as well as do creative activities such as sing, dance and draw, a spokeswoman for the center said.

Lohan, 28, was approved to work at the nursery school by a Los Angeles judge last week and will start volunteering as early as Tuesday, the Daily News reported.

She was ordered to complete more than 240 hours of community service after crashing her Porsche into a truck on June 8, 2012. Lohan was charged with reckless driving and lying to police, according to reports.

The actress has a long rap sheet that includes shoplifting, driving under the influence and several traffic violations.

Duffield Children's Center is located at 101 Fleet Pl. and serves children ages 2 to 4.

Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Holley, could not immediately be reached for comment.
