After six years on "Saturday Night Live" and numerous television and movie roles, Jimmy Fallon replaced Conan O'Brien on "Late Night" on NBC in 2009. Fallon was born in Brooklyn in 1974 and later lived in Saugerties, N.Y. The comedian currently resides in Manhattan and his talk show is filmed at 30 Rockefeller Center.

Fallon began his career as a stand up comedian and became a household name after becoming a regular on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) in 1998. His legendary SNL impersonations of Jerry Seinfeld, Justin Timberlake, Jack White, and Enrique Iglesias shot him to stardom. In addition to mocking celebrities, Fallon also created original and celebrated SNL characters like Nick Burns, the sarcastic computer repair man. In 2000 he co-anchored with Tina Fey on SNL's "Weekend Update."

Fallon dreamed of joining the SNL cast ever since he was a child. With the help of his parents who taped the show for their talented son, Fallon grew-up watching clean versions of the popular television program. Over the years, dozens of famous comedians launched their careers on SNL. Fallon planned to follow in their footsteps.

His ability to make people laugh was a talent that people recognized in him at an early age. In elementary school Fallon was awarded the title of most likely to replace David Letterman. Before he was famous, Fallon spent a great deal of time perfecting his sketch comedy by taking acting classes and performing stand-up routines all over the country.

Fallon showcased his comedian skills and raw talent as host of the MTV Movie Awards in 2001 and 2005. He also hosted the MTV Music Awards in 2002. During the broadcast he mocked everyone from Eminem to Nelly. In 2002 People Magazine described Fallon as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World. In 2003 his comedy album "The Bathroom Wall" was nominated for a Grammy Award.

During his senior year at The College of Saint Rose (Albany, New York), Fallon dropped out of school. But in 2009, his college accepted his portfolio in lieu of courses and awarded him a bachelors in Communications.
