MANHATTAN — He just can't get Lady Gaga off his mind.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg gushed about the pop singer and the New Year's Eve smooch he shared with her during an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

"It’s the best job in the world; you get a chance to change the world, you get a chance to change the world," Hizzoner said. "And I get a chance to kiss Lady Gaga on New Year’s Eve."

"I don’t think my girlfriend was happy about that," he added, referring to Diana Taylor, who also shared a kiss with the "Born This Way" songstress.

Of the possibility that the kiss was planned, Bloomberg coyly said "there are no coincidences."

"That’s what happens on a first date with you," Fallon shot back.

The mayor also boasted about being a good luck charm for New York City sports teams, and his excitement about attending the Mets opening day game Thursday.

"I went to a Giants game and they won the Super Bowl," he said.

And while Bloomberg's post-mayoral plans are murky, Hizzoner joked that he might steal Fallon’s job if he’s not careful.

"I made your show the first week," Bloomberg told the funnyman, referencing his 2009 appearance on the program during its first week on the air. "I was thinking, actually, I can just see it now: Late Night with Mike Bloomberg."
