MANHATTAN — "Jersey Shore" heartthrob Pauly D unleashed his masculine wiles in Manhattan Wednesday night on behalf of Cosmopolitan Magazine.
The TV personality and budding DJ, whose hair has acquired the plastic consistency of an action figure, walked the red carpet at District 36 nightclub to promote the launch of Cosmo's new iPad app.
Rev. Run, of the hip hop group Run DMC and later the MTV reality show "Run's House," was also in attendance at the Garment District event, later tweeting of his new friendship with the "Jersey Shore's" infamous "creeper."
Farther uptown, at the Museum of Modern Art, "Gossip Girl" actor Penn Badgley turned out for the premiere of his upcoming film "Margin Call," a Wall Street thriller staring Kevin Spacey and Jeremy Irons.
And in Rockefeller Center, "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
The controversial funny men were there to promote their new Broadway musical "The Book of Mormon."
