Rejoice! The weekend is almost upon us. But before we get to the many incredible events and activities we have planned for the weekend, one more slog to work needs to happen. We can do this.

WEATHER: Expect sunny skies and a high of 41 degrees today, with a "real feel" high of about 25 degrees, according to Accuweather.

High winds will make it difficult to trudge to work, with a predicted force of 36 mph at its peak.

By evening, it'll get down to about 30 degrees.

Tomorrow's weather will be about the same, with a predicted high of 44 degrees. On Sunday though, it'll be sunny with a predicted high of 59 degrees.

Remember when we were advised not to leave the house all weekend because it was too freezing? With a wind chill factor that made it feel like it was -15 degrees outside? That was two weeks ago.

SUBWAYS: At the time of publication, all train lines were running with good service. For updates on your train line, check the MTA's website

Because things could be a whole heck of a lot worse, but no one feels like dealing with that gale force wind at this point in the week, today's Misery Index is at a 4.
