Irene is a reporter/producer covering Manhattan Courts for DNAinfo.com New York.

Prior to joining the DNAinfo team, Irene was reporter for The American Lawyer magazine, where she covered complex litigation, corporate deals, the business of law and legal trends.

She's also worked as metro reporter for the New York Post and The Journal News. Feature stories she's written have appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer and other publications.

Irene has a B.A. in history from Columbia University, as well as a master's degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
She grew up in the suburbs of New York, and has lived on Upper West Side for more than five years.

Fun Fact: Irene has spent at least part of most summers in a small Greek village outside of Sparta called Potamia that has more goats than people — it's also her dad's hometown.
