CLINTON HILL — A cane-wielding man spit on and clubbed an MTA driver who kicked him off her bus for being unruly, NYPD officials said.
The suspect was riding a B25 bus on Fulton Street at Downing Street about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 9 and was being rowdy and bothering other passengers, when the driver ordered him off the bus, police said.
As the man was leaving, he spit on the 58-year old driver, and when she followed him to prevent him from getting away, the suspect hit her in the shoulder and hip with his cane, police said.
He fled east on Fulton Street and hadn't been arrested as of Tuesday, police said.
The driver was treated at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn, police said.
The suspect is in his 50s or 60s, standing about six feet with a slim build, police said. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, burgundy pants and a dark cap, police said.
