CLINTON HILL — A pair of newly constructed below-market-rate apartments are up for grabs at a residential building in Clinton Hill for as low as $947 per month, according to the city’s Housing Connect website.

Applications opened Monday for a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom at 452 Lafayette Ave., a five-story building on the corner of Franklin Avenue with amenities including a roof terrace and a laundry room.

Hopefuls have until Aug. 1 to fill out an application for the units, monthly rent for which will be $947 for the one-bedroom and $1,072 for the two-bedroom.

The one bedroom is available to a single person making between $32,469 and $40,080 or two people making between $32,469 and $45,840, while the two-bedroom is available to couple applicants with an income between $36,755 and $45,840, three-person households making between $36,755 - $51,540, and four-person households with an income between $36,755 -$57,240, according to NYC Housing Connect.

The building, which was built in 2009, was approved to receive a tax-exemption through the Department of Housing Preservation and Development’s 421-A program, according to the Housing Connect website.
