BROOKLYN — A person was fatally struck by an F train at Jay Street Friday afternoon, disrupting service, officials said.
The person was hit by a northbound train entering the station at about 2:35 p.m., according to the FDNY, MTA and NYPD. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Officials did not immediately have further information about the victim.
F trains were running with delays by 3:30 p.m. after being rerouted over the G line.
