QUEENS — A man was shot three times in the torso during a dispute that erupted inside an illegal gambling club on Jamaica Avenue in Hollis, police said.

The 29-year-old victim was arguing with another man inside the club at 195-39 Jamaica Ave. shortly after midnight on June 10, when the suspect pulled out a silver gun and shot him three times in the torso before fleeing southbound on 196th Street, authorities said.

The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he was listed in stable condition, officials said.

On Tuesday, the NYPD released surveillance video showing the suspect shooting the victim.

It was not immediately clear what the men were arguing about, police said.

Authorities described the suspect as being about 5-foot 8-inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, white sneakers and a red T-shirt.
