BROOKLYN — Now is your chance to join Brooklyn’s own NBA dance team.

The Brooklynettes, the official dance squad of the Brooklyn Nets basketball team, are holding open auditions this month to find dancers for the 2017-2018 season.

The try-outs will take place on Saturday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at Long Island University in downtown Brooklyn.

The audition is open to all women 18 years old and above, but given that hundreds of women have showed up in the past for 18 spots on the team, you better have years of technical dance training under your belt, according to the open call.

Would-be Brooklynettes are required to wear two-piece attire and “midriff and legs must be exposed,” the audition posting said. Dancers should arrive in “glamorous, performance-ready hair and makeup.” Finalists should be prepared to participate in callbacks on Sunday, June 11.

Brooklynettes perform at all Nets home games at the Barclays Center and are required to travel nationally and internationally for promotional events throughout the year.

Auditions will take place at the Arnold and Marie Schwartz Center at 1 University Plaza at LIU Brooklyn. Doors open at 10 a.m. and the auditions will begin at 11 a.m.
