CLINTON HILL — A man punched a woman in the face and stole her purse as she was walking home last week, police said.
The 27-year-old victim was walking on Waverly Avenue, between DeKalb and Willoughby avenues, at 10 p.m. on March 28 when the suspect approached her from behind and punched her before pushing her to the ground, the NYPD said.
The man then took the woman's purse, which had a phone and credit cards inside, before running off, police said.
Police released surveillance video of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black bomber jacket, gray sweatpants and dark gray high-tops.
