BROOKLYN — A man was caught on home surveillance video snatching a $1,000 baby stroller from a Fort Greene stoop, police said.

The buggy bandit first walked up to the stoop near Carlton and Willoughby avenues Thursday from a gray sedan and inspected the stroller, the video shows.

He then walks back to the car and drives off, but returns with a black hoodie draped over his head before snagging the UPPAbaby Vista Stroller, which contained an Enfant blanket and Enfant warmer, police said.

The total value of the items was $1,035, police said.

The thief — who was caught on tape by the building's 35-year-old resident — was described as standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 170 pounds.
