Fake Bomb to Detonate at Williamsburgh Bank Tower for 'Gotham' Shoot

FORT GREENE — A fake bomb will be detonated at the Williamsburgh Savings Bank tower on Wednesday for the Fox series "Gotham."

The show will be filming an episode inside the landmarked bank tower at 1 Hanson Place next to the Atlantic Terminal for most of the day Wednesday, according to Councilwoman Laurie Cumbo's office

A scene for the series' third season will depict an explosion inside the fictional Union Station, featuring "atmospheric smoke and haze, air movers, and compressed air cans to simulate a bomb," officials said. A crowd of actors will react to the explosion,

The shoot will take place between 10:30 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Starting at 6 a.m., drivers will be unable to park in the following locations:

► The east side of St. Felix Street, between Fulton Street and Hanson Place
► The north and south sides of Lafayette Avenue, between St. Felix Street and Fort Greene Place
► The east and west sides of Fort Greene Place, between Lafayette Avenue and Hanson Place
► The north side of Hanson Place, between Ashland Place and St. Felix Street
► The south side of Hanson Place, between Ashland Place and Fort Greene Place
