BROOKLYN — A bank robber stole $4,000 from a Downtown Brooklyn branch, the NYPD said.
The man walked into the Chase bank at 101 Court St. at 3:07 p.m. on Jan. 30 and passed a note to the teller demanding money, a police report said.
The teller handed the suspect $4,000 and the robber fled the branch with the cash, police said.
Police released a surveillance photo of the man, who they described as is in his 20s, standing 5-foot-9, and last seen wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt and a red-and-white trucker hat.
A representative for the bank could not be reached for comment.
