83-Year-Old Man Punched and Robbed on Fulton Street, Police Say

CLINTON HILL — Police are looking for a suspect who punched an 83-year-old man in the head before stealing his cellphone on Fulton Street

The two men got into an argument around 1:30 p.m. Monday near 966 Fulton St., the NYPD said.

The suspect then punched the victim in the head and ripped the cellphone from his jacket pocket, police said.

The attacker fled on foot in an unknown direction after the beating, police said. 

The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was described as about 65 years old, standing 6 feet, weighing 200 pounds and last seen wearing a multi-colored knit hat, a black coat with light-colored sleeves, black pants and tan boots, police said.
