Man Kisses, Gropes Woman in Jay Street Subway Elevator, Police Say

BROOKLYN — A man kissed a woman and then groped her inside a Jay Street station elevator, police said.

The 50-year-old woman entered the elevator at the station on Nov. 22 at about 4:58 a.m., according to the NYPD. The man then got on with her and grabbed the victim after the doors closed, video of the incident showed.

The woman managed to push the man away and he ran off when the elevator doors reopened.

The suspect is about 50 years old, 5-foot-11, 220 pounds and has salt and pepper hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue pants.
