DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A trio of teens punched and kicked a 14-year-old boy as they tried to steal his cellphone at the Hoyt Street station, police said.

The victim was sitting at the southbound platform around 3:45 p.m. on Nov. 15 when one of the teens sat down next to him and demanded his phone, police said.

“You gonna gimme the jack or I'm gonna burn yah,” the teen assailant told the boy, according to the police report.

The boy refused to hand it over, so the other teens attacked him, punching and kicking him, police said.

Another commuter tried to intervene, so the suspects ran off without taking the phone, police said.

No arrests have been made.

Other notable crimes from the 84th Precinct included:

► A 21-year-old man who thought a woman cut him off while in line at the Guidance Center of Brooklyn Hospital at Chapel Street around 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 15 threw a phone charger at her head, injuring her, police said. The man was not charged. The Guidance Center did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

► An unidentified man stole $128.75 worth of hats from Zumiez at 425 Fulton St. around 4:15 p.m. on Nov. 18, police said. The man tried to leave the store with 22 hats when a store employee tried to stop him by holding the door closed. The man threatened to stab the woman and said he would “bring my friends to shoot up the place,” according to a police report. The man then shoved her in the chest with his elbow and was able to take off with the hats. A manager at the store declined to comment.

► An unidentified person stole $1,100 worth of bikes, skateboards and scooters from a residential basement on State Street sometime between 3 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 18, police said. The suspect got in through an unlocked basement door and took the two bikes, two scooters and three skateboards.

► Two registers containing $1,100 were stolen from B.Good restaurant at 141 Montague St. sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 11:42 p.m. on Nov. 19. The suspects entered the restaurant through the front door without using force. A manager at the restaurant declined to comment.
