Men Steal $400 at Gunpoint From Man Sitting in Car in Fort Greene: Police

FORT GREENE — Two men were caught on video after robbing a 55-year-old man at gunpoint last month in Fort Greene, according to police. 

The suspects ambushed the man while he was sitting in his car at 31 North Oxford St. around 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 20, police said.

The men took out a gun and demanded money from the victim, police said. One of the men hit the victim in the face with the gun, causing a cut to his head, police said.

The suspects got away with $400 cash and the man’s credit cards, according to police. 

Surveillance video shows the men running from the scene of the robbery, police said. 

One of the men was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white stripes on the sleeve and blue jeans, police said.

The other was last seen wearing a gray and blue hooded sweatshirt with light colored pants and shoes.
