FORT GREENE — From traditional pies to chocolate turkeys, you can find the perfect Thanksgiving dessert this year at one of several Fort Greene and Clinton Hill shops.

While most bakeries recommend placing your order ahead of time, many local spots offer pickup as late as the day before Thanksgiving, and even same-day pickup.

Check out DNAinfo’s round-up of neighborhood spots below.

The Good Batch
936 Fulton St.
Price: $24 to $37

From pies to their signature ice cream sandwiches, The Good Batch offers both classic and unconventional Thanksgiving treats. Get a 9-inch pumpkin pie, with ginger molasses cookie crumble, or a 9-inch apple crumble, made with local apples, for $32 each. The shop will also be baking sweet potato meringue cakes, available in 6 or 9 inches, that come layered with cinnamon cream cheese frosting and topped with a cornflake crumble, starting at $37. This year’s seasonal ice cream sandwich flavor is a soft pumpkin cookie with sweet chai tea butter cream and Blue Marble vanilla ice cream that costs $24 for a dozen. The shop also offers an assortment of seasonal cookies and breads, including a vegan pumpkin bread that you can order by the loaf. Thanksgiving orders can be picked up starting Nov. 14 and as late as Nov. 23.
