DUMBO — They're real-life Mean Mr. Mustards.

A 68-year-old woman was walking near Plymouth and Main streets around 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 when two men squirted mustard on her jacket as part of a robbery ruse, police said.

The suspects started to wipe off the mustard while apologizing before one of them yanked her purse off her shoulder and the two ran off, the NYPD said.

The purse contained $400 in cash, police said.

Police described the suspects in the condiment caper as being around 40 years old.

Other notable crimes from the 84th Precinct, which includes Downtown Brooklyn and DUMBO, according to police:

► A 30-year-old woman was walking into her family’s home on Front Street around 9:20 p.m. on Oct. 10 when a man in his late teens approached her from behind and grabbed her backpack from her shoulder, police said. The man then handed the bag, which contained her phone and wallet, to another man who was riding a bike southbound on Gold Street.

► A 59-year-old man was riding the northbound N train near the DeKalb Avenue station around 4 a.m. on Oct. 11 when a man sprayed a liquid substance in his face, causing the victim pain, police said. The man was treated at Brooklyn Hospital, where medical staff determined the substance wasn’t chemical.
