DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A drone enthusiast was arrested after a security guard caught him climbing onto the roof of a Downtown Brooklyn building to fly the remote-controlled aircraft, police said.

The 43-year-old was arrested on Sept. 14 around 6:30 p.m. after being found on the seventh floor of the closed office building at 9 Bond St., the NYPD said.

The security guard told police he caught the man trying to fly a drone on the same building’s rooftop a month ago.

He was charged with trespassing but pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct at his Sept. 16 arraignment and was released, court records show.

Other notable crimes from the Downtown Brooklyn area include:

► A man’s $1,300 bike was stolen from a rack in front of 300 Cadman Plaza West, where he locked it at 11 a.m. on Sept. 16.
