CLINTON HILL — A suspect trying to steal an electric bike pepper-sprayed the vehicle's owner in the face before taking off with the key, police said.
The unidentified suspect approached the 20-year-old man and took his bike key out of the ignition just before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday near Washington and Greene avenues, according to a police report.
The suspect then blasted the man in the face with pepper spray and ran off, police said.
No arrests have been made.
