CROWN HEIGHTS — A 22-year-old man was killed and a 32-year-old man was critically injured in a shootout at the Kingsborough Houses over the weekend, police said.

Luis Zuniga, 22, of East New York was found by police inside 120 Kingsborough #1 Walk around 4 a.m. Saturday with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. A second man, 32 years old, had been shot once in the stomach there also, police said.

Zuniga was taken to Interfaith Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The second victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.

There have been no suspects identified and no arrests made in the shooting, police said.

The murder is the fourth fatal shooting in the 77th Precinct within a month. Last week, 37-year-old Akaijah Evelyn was killed and two other men shot outside of 777 St. Marks Ave. near New York Avenue.

Four days before that, a 26-year-old was shot and killed on Prospect Place between Schenectady and Utica avenues.

And on Aug. 16, a 30-year-old man was shot and killed outside 1358 St. Marks Ave. between Buffalo and Ralph avenues.
